Tochoji Temple

The "Tochoji" temple of the Soto Zen School was established in 1594. As part of the 400th-anniversary memorial project, the current building was constructed in 1989.

This temple harmoniously blends the rationalities of modern architecture with traditional Buddhist temple architecture. The Bunyukaku pavilion, in particular, holds the distinction of being the first temple building globally to receive PHI Low Energy Building certification.

The "Tochoji" temple holds significant potential as a venue for a special program that would inspire participants with a fusion of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. Considering arranging an exclusive "Zen Meditation" program or a "Yoga" program could be an excellent idea to create an unforgettable experience for participants.
